My friend Beth talked about getting together for brunch and we decided to see who else might like to join us?  Full details will be posted tomorrow, but it will be in Schaumburg at 10:30 a.m. – most likely at Granite City.  If you are interested, please let me know in the comments!  You can also email me too:  mybizzykitchen@gmail.com.  I plan on doing another one in January (with more notice!) so sorry if this was too short of notice for you.

I just thought it would be fun to meet people and talk about how we are going to navigate the holidays.  I have to remember that it is a holiDAY not a holiday season.

Picky plate to the rescue yesterday.  My sister and I were just talking about how we love toast with jelly on it – our Mom probably has that a few times a week.  The toast with SF strawberry jam was 3 points and the ham was 1 point.

My sister had a work obligation, and although it was sunny, it was 23 degrees and windy, so it felt like 15 degrees – um, no thank you!  I had two Hebrew National hot dogs wrapped in Joseph’s lavash bread (2) with my zero point butternut squash soup.  That I somehow made too spicy, even for me, so I couldn’t eat it!

The hot dogs were good though!

Our city looks so pretty at sunset – that shot was taken right at 5:00.

And would it be Tuesday if you don’t have tacos?  I used some of the oven roasted chicken breast to make these chicken and refried bean tacos.  Using lots of Pam spray to make them crunchy. 😀

I don’t know if you can see all the baby guts on my living room floor – Rummy and Roman got new toys – they last about an hour before they are ripped to pieces.  It wore them out though and they laid like that, licking each other for a good 30 minutes last night.  So cute!

Happy Wednesday friends – make it a great day!!
