I realized earlier in the week that I clocked another 50,000 pageviews since my half million giveaway post at the end of April, so its time for another giveaway to thank everyone who takes time out of their day to see what’s happening at My Bizzy Kitchen. šŸ˜€

I have Shelley to thank for my new hat that I wear every day during lunch, whether I am walking, biking or running – it fits well and covers my face from the sun and even in windy conditions stays put.

Under Armour hat – I couldn’t find the exact one she gave me, but this one is close:

Then because its summer, and Shelley and I are swimming fools, I thought I would throw in a pair of Speedo Water Thongs – perfect for grabbing the mail or to wear around a pool:

And last, but not least – a cool short sleeve shirt with rashgaurd – not exactly sure that that is, but I like the fit – and it comes in either pink or blue.

And thanks again for everyone leaving comments, emailing me on the side – I am so lucky to have so many friends! šŸ˜€  To enter the giveaway, simply leave me a comment telling me what your favorite exercise gear is.  Second entry (and second comment) if you tweet about it.  I’ve only sent one tweet in my whole life, and that was to help my friend Heather become a FitAmbassador for Cleveland.  One day I’ll latch on to all this social media – I only go on facebook once a week too!

I’ll pick a winner on Monday, June 27.  Good luck! šŸ˜€

Now onto the eats!

At the Japanese grocery store, I picked up some black sesame seed bread – its really good – I ended up with an 0pen face sammie with a sliced pear for breakfast – I had a couple slices of deli turkey under the egg and cheese, and I think it was spoiled because I felt like shizz for a couple hours after I ate it.  It tasted good going down though!  Breakfast comes in at 8 PointsPlus.

I had to do a bank deposit for work, so walked to and from the bank for a nice 45 minute walk – after I work out twice a day like I did on Wednesday, its hard to do too much the next day.

Lunch was super delicious – think chili mac, only with leftover sloppy Joe’s!  I had 1/2 a cup of sloppy joes over yaki soba noodles with baby spinach and a sprinkling of cheese – this delicious bowl was 10 points and quite filling. šŸ˜€  The soba noodles were from the Japanese grocery store too – each of the three 5.5 ounce cooked packages are only 4 Points – simple steep them in hot water for a couple minutes.

And I had pork chops on the menu but forgot to defrost them – so it was on to Plan B – chicken taquitos!  3 taquitos were 11 mouthwatering PointsPlus.

  • 3 corn tortillas (3 pts.)
  • 3 ounces chicken (3 pts.)
  • 3 tablespoons fat free refried beans (1 pt.)
  • 3/4 ounce cheddar cheese (2 pts.)
  • 1 tsp. oil for frying (1 pt.)
  • 1.5 tablespoons light sour cream (1 pt.)
  • chopped baby spinach and jalapeno (0 pt.)
  • 1 tablespoon salsa (0 pt.)

Deep fried for just a couple minutes – I’ve said it before, but our deep fryer holds the temp so well, I only count 1 tsp. of oil for the deep frying – but these are not greasy at all.

Yep, not gonna lie these are delicious – and I probably could have stopped at two, but why? šŸ˜€

the green toothpicks represent chopped jalapenos on the inside – didn’t want to accidentally give one of these to Tony!

Yep, one more picture – I couldn’t decide which one ot post, so I posted all three šŸ˜€

So happy it’s Friday!  Stats for Thursday:

  • 29 Points
  • 45 minute walk
  • average blood sugar 131

Make it a great day!
