With Hannah’s concert tonight, I went the easy route and picked up pizza on the way home.   That way we didn’t have to rush around, and, turns out, I had lasagna on the menu and didn’t make it ahead of time!

And I was REALLY hungry after spilling half my lunch on the floor!  But I managed not to spill my spinach salad!

Hannah finished making her tie-died shirt in chemistry – I came home to see this hanging on our gazebo drying in the wind – I thought it turned out amazing!!

And so Tony and I went to Hannah’s last concert of the year – with a school population of 1800 kids, 450 participate in the choral department!  It really is spectacular – and the demand for tickets was so big, they asked for you to just listen to your child’s group and leave in order for every parent to hear the concert – even moving it into the bigger gym!

you did a great job Hannah!! We are so proud of you!

And I wanted to let my MIL that I got my new magazine in the mail today!  At a quick glance, I’ve already picked out at least three recipes I need to try asap!  Thank you!!

1st recipe to try: farro saltato con capesante, gamberetti e salsa di zafferano - for those of you who don't speak Italian (including me!) this is farro with scallops. rock shrimp and saffron sauce - can you say yum!

We watched the Office – great episode!  And now we are watching the season finale of Hell’s Kitchen, which for some reason I thought was going to be last night!

Tomorrow’s Friday already – see you tomorrow! 😀
