at least not in the dark anyway!  Truth be told, Tony is an AWESOME griller, be it the gas grill or the trusty weber.   Um, I started out with big thick pork chops:

Hannah had chicken, which I had to pound out really flat – hers was good!

But sadly, I over cooked the pork!  Noooo!!!!!  At least Ed enjoyed them!

But my side dishes were good!

And then I made potatoes.  First I sliced them, precooked them in the oven for about 9 minutes to soften, then in the oven at 450 for 25 minutes.  The last step was a bread crumb mixture run under the broiler.  They were kind of dry, a bit too crispy on the bottom, so I won’t post the recipe just yet.

But on the bright side, Hannah found a cool vintage T at our thrift store!

I am sure the 20 somethings who may read my blog may not know this commercial. And I hate that I said "vintage" t-shirt when it was in my era!

So I may give the grill a rest for now.  Or at least until I can see what I am doing!  Hope everyone had  a great day.  See you tomorrow!
