Weigh-In Monday – time to face the music!

Okay, so guess who got their butt out of bed at 6:15 a.m. and went to work out this morning – yep – me!  It was pitch black outside, all of 9 degrees and as soon as I stepped foot out of the door, I thought to myself “it’s not too late to go back to bed for another hour!”

But I stuck with it!  I ended up only able to do 35 minutes on hill climb – its amazing how quickly one can get out of shape!  And it’s only been like a month since I worked out!  My plan is to walk my dog tonight for 10 minutes to count as 45 minutes of exercise.  The machine said I burned 295 calories, not sure if that’s accurate though!

I also stepped on the scale: 167.4 is my official weigh-in today.  I’d like (as well as my doctor!) to get to 125 this year.  If only I were taller than 5.2″!!  I plan to weigh in only once a week, so Monday is the day!

  • 1/4 cup egg beaters
  • 1/4 cup egg whites
  • .5 ounce sharp shredded cheddar
  • cracked pepper and Tabasco!
