I swear when Hannah and I went to the store I picked up yeast for the pizza dough.  I remember because it was on sale: two 3 packs for $3.00 which is a great price!

So Hannah’s friend is over, and I start to make the pizza dough.  No yeast!  I look everywhere, Hannah doesn’t remember seeing it, and its not on my receipt.  Nertz!

So on to Plan B:  no yeast pizza dough!

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Combine all ingredients into food processor and process for 5 minutes.  I ended up having to add an additional two tablespoons of flour to the dough so it wouldn’t stick to the sides of the bowl.  It felt like my usual pizza dough but the finished texture was more cracker like?  I can’t really put my finger on it though!  It was okay, and in a pinch I’d use it again.  What’s nice is that it’s pantry items you would usually have!

My individual pizza was:

  • 3 ounces of pizza dough, rolled thin
  • 2 ounces pizza sauce
  • .4 ounces of diced pepperoni
  • 3 tablespoons of mixed peppers
  • 2 ounces part skim mozzarella cheese

Very filling!

I can’t believe I have another day off!  Definitely have to tackle the laundry tomorrow and grocery shop.  I got my Clean Eating magazine and am going to try to incorporate (i.e plan!) some of their meal plans for my breakfast and lunches next week.  And I have to get to the fitness center at some point tomorrow.  I keep telling myself to do it, but after walking Ed I just decide not to.  But now that I said it “out loud” hopefully I’ll keep my promise to myself!

See you tomorrow!
