Lasagna at an Irish Pub

Whenever I don’t order something a restaurant is known for, Tony says its like ordering lasagna at an Irish Pub!  We ended up going to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch, and I did not get chicken wings!  But what Hannah and I got was very good!  We each got the grilled chicken wraps that came with tortilla chips and salas on the side.

I ended up eating one whole taco, then the guts out of the second one, and I ate almost all the chips – maybe 15 in all?  But the star of the show was a new sauce they had which I asked for on the side to taste.

Mango Habanero Sauce!  It is the perfect balance of flavorful hot and enough heat to make you start to sweat!  We bought a bottle of that to bring home and Tony’s favorite, the parmesan sauce.  The label recommends for best results apply after cooking, but I am going to try to marinate chicken in the sauce and see what happens.

Then we knew Joe would be working so we drove by to see him in action!  He was expecting it to be a busy night!

Here is his serious face:

Hopefully it won't be too cold for him tonight!

Hopefully it won't be too cold for him tonight!

Right now I am cooking down the turkey carcass and making turkey soup to have with sandwiches later.  We are still full from lunch (um, and maybe the popcorn we got at the movie theater!).   See you later!

I never really was into hot and spicy sauces until I saw you use them so much – now when I’m at a restaurant I ALWAYS use lots of the hot sauce and it’s so good 🙂
