Oh my gosh, last nights crab was so good!  But first, we finally got our wood delivered – TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATE!  She just drove the truck in our drive and dumped it and left.

Hannah was up for the challenge and actually stacked ALL the wood herself!  Here is her lumberjack face:

All done!

Great job Hannah!

While she was working, Tony and I split a Boddington’s Beer.  If you have never had it, it is amazing – VERY CREAMY!

Our neighbors have little kids – their oldest was at a friends house, but their five year old son and year and a half old twins were up when we got there.  They have so much energy!  Even though our neighbors are just a bit younger than me, I don’t know if I would have the patience to have little kids at 40!  They are absolutely adorable though.  Hannah was a cleaning machine, she cleaned the five year olds room, straightened the basement and reorganized their pantry, all while we were enjoying the main event – CRAB!

My neighbor and I split a glass bottle of Champagne!  Nice!

Um, there’s no calories in butter right?!  I like the knuckle meat, Tony does not.  I end up picking all the meat out and making crab soup (um in the butter!)
EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!

On the plan for today is finish the laundry, mop the kitchen floor and then my next experiment recipe.  While at Mity Nice Grill with Roni last week, they had REUBEN EGG ROLLS on the appetizer list.  Anyone who knows me well knows this is my favorite sandwich.  I am going to attempt to make these healthy by baking them, using lean corned beef and swiss lorraine cheese – keep your fingers crossed that it works out!  I plan on making a spicy dipping sauce on the side.

See you at lunch!
